This Privacy Policy explains how Stay ("we", "us", "the site") handles information when you visit staymovies.com (the "Site"). Stay does not require an account, and we designed the site to work with as little personal data as possible.

Information we collect

We don't ask you to register, and we don't collect names, emails, or personal identifiers to use the core features of the site (searching movies, viewing post-credit scene info, or voting).

• Votes: when you vote on whether a movie has a mid-credit or end-credit scene, we store that vote and a local marker in your browser (via localStorage) so you don't vote twice on the same movie. This marker stays on your device and is not linked to your identity.
• Usage data: like most websites, our server may log basic technical information (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and troubleshooting purposes.

Cookies and advertising

Stay uses or plans to use Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Third-party services

Movie information displayed on Stay (titles, posters, plot summaries, cast) is retrieved from third-party movie databases. We cache this data on our own servers to reduce load and improve speed, but the underlying information originates from those third-party sources.

You can clear your browser's local storage at any time to remove your voting history on this device. You can also opt out of personalized advertising through your browser or device settings, or through Google's Ads Settings linked above.

Children's privacy

Stay is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
